2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I'm giving Heupel credit. He's an excellent coach. But, this was about draft stock. JMIII getting drafted had more to do with things NFL covets. That wouldnt have mattered if he'd been at Meatchicken UCLA or UT.

HH also had a lot to do with his maturity. And for that I’ll give Heup credit.
We love you but you’re an idiot sometimes. Joe Milton wasn’t getting drafted prior to playing in Heupel’s offense. Hooker nor Milton if they were in the portal era would have commanded big dollars; they were both cast offs for other teams encouraged to look elsewhere with zero chance of starting another snap on their former teams.

Heupel took both and had one of the best offenses in the country both years.

You're either a PI or stalker. I don't know if you're Mike Hammer or Travis Bickle. 🤔

This one is easy.

I went and looked at current DL still available. I hopped on X and to see if there was any info about them visiting any schools. Click profile, it’ll show you mutual followers.

Soooo maybe the tiniest bit of stalking

O🤨

maybe i'm envisioning a different type athlete. game changing. I saw EB do that so many times, at least once a game. maybe more. Tebow was that way
Game changing...
Set the tone.

Vandy was already up 17-7, looking to score again.

I also advise watching the Oklahoma game, where he completely dominated. 6 tackles, an interception, and 2 more pass breakups.

Had 5 other games where teams didn't even look his way.

WTH you even talking about, moran??

EB was a rare talent. He’d probably be rated a “1.0000” 5-star in today’s rating system. McCoy is an elite cover corner. EB would be elite as a safety, corner, or nickel.

I see where other's call Jermod elite. I'm purposefully being critical, as to what I call 'elite'. EB was all world.

Go back to this time last year and point out how many of Indiana’s portal gets looked like elite transfers. Mendoza was certainly one (though no one thought he was Heisman caliber).

Cignetti and staff have been excellent at identifying the right fit guys then developing and coaching them. I don’t have that same level of confidence with our staff. Maybe Knowles will help with that a bit.
