Pretty much every major program has adjusted to allocating funds to a smaller number of players. Texas, Ohio State, etc. only like 35-40 players play on the field anyways

Why do you get so snippy over the most pedestrian posts in this thread? It’s not exactly a stretch to say that we need some D linemen and a third QB. Jesus Christ, man, not every damn post you see needs to be turned into an argument.

There’s a few on this forum who think it’s their civic duty to antagonize anyone that doesn’t toe the line.

Just catching up on the day and haven't read everything. Added the new commits. They may not be "sexy pickups, but they help fill needs. On offense, still need a third QB just for depth. On defense, still need DL, and I think we need another CB. No offense to Tevis Metcalf, but he feels more like a depth piece to help with his brother. Maybe he will be a contributor, but I still think we need another reliable corner. Even if Redmond and Lee start, what happens if one gets hurt? We don't want to find ourselves in a situation like we faced this year with two top CBs on the shelf.

Hobbs is not 300 lol

I could be wrong, but I think players, especially linemen are likely to gain weight over the course of an entire year.

I haven’t watched his film but I would assume we offered based on his blocking ability from the TE position.

I would assume Davis and Brame would be used primarily in the pass game.

Davis did get better in his blocking game but still has some work to do.

I think it meant they thought Leavitt could help win a NC, while George at best might get us to the playoffs. Means to me we are ok with just maybe being able to get in playoffs but not able to legit contend.
