No team will ever do well with their third string QB but we had a 4th string last year and the roster doesn't load yet for 2026, his name is Mason Phillips. We don't know what the plan is but our top two QB's have as much potential as most if not all top two on other teams. Imagine you run the team ( god help us, regardless of what you may think), you want to build a team for the playoffs and unlike some of you believe you don't have a trillion dollars, you have a set amount. Can you build a better team by having the top three QB's in the league and paying them as such OR will you try to allocate the money a little more evenly to insure you have quality all around? This is how most NFL teams do it, now some may be better than others but NO team spends big dollars on their third string QB EVER. In fact they have a 17 game season and most teams have only two QB's on their roster, they usually have a QB on their practice squad but those can be poached by any team as long as they are added to the 53 man roster. Some on here seem to bitch no matter what the coach does, none of us know the criteria the staff is working with and as Americans we all seem to believe money doesn't matter as long as it's not ours SPEND, SPEND, SPEND. The best thing I can say to those people is maybe it's time to find a team that does things your way, maybe Texas Tech or Miami and enjoy life, but unless you are completely informed of the situations you know nothing, but you obviously love to bitch. Life's too short.
