And that poster game some info, but then continued to give in depth information on the inner workings our not only our portal actions but also the financials etc of other teams…. How gullible would you have to be to believe him?

Reply I got was - Don't think so. Maybe not a completely closed door but not expected to move forward. Expectation is he will stay at OSU.

For some background, there has always been some level of interest in the brothers attending the same school and many thought that would happen at OSU. I think that reignited some after Knowles was hired and especially when there was a real possibility of Matt Guerrieri coming to Vols. Matt is basically JK's protégé and actually had role in Jim being hired at OSU, but situation at OSU caused some strain on their personal relationship. Anyway, if Guerrieri came in I think there would of been more momentum, not that it would of happened for sure, but would of increased chances. I was told at one time the Vols even talk of making all of Guerrieri, Poindexter, & Hunter Jr work on staff. Guerrieri did have the chance to take same position/title Poindexter has but decided to stay at OSU and JK's choice was easy in Poindexter

Not sure that the portal window means squat to a judge.

I may be wrong, but I think this judge is actually hearing a request for an injunction, not ruling on the actual waiver. The injunction is to prevent the NCAA from enforcing the JUCO rule while the full case makes it's way through the courts. They are requesting the injunction specifically because time is of the essence (portal, spring camp, etc). The case might take years to fully resolve and the five participants would be irreparably harmed if they were not allowed to play.

In essence, if the injunction is granted, it effectively makes the five fully eligible for the foreseeable future.

He's 6-5, 227 lbs, too, running those speeds. Makes you wonder how he ended up on the defensive side of the ball. He'd have been a heck of a TE if he could catch.

I will save you the trouble of scrolling back through hundreds of pages and put it simply. Yes, yes they do in both directions lol.

Perosnally, I think Leavitt could be incredible in this offense if healthy, but if Joey can get a waiver to come back, I will gladly take that too. Another year under his belt and he could be even better, especially if he can work to cut down on the turnovers. More confidence and time in the offense would do that I am sure. Also not having a tumor in his arm might help.
