Danny White made it a point to plug all the leaks coming out of the athletic department and it's absolutely worked. That fact pi$$es off a bunch of people in here but it was the right thing to do.

Some of the OG seem to be left scrambling for story lines and just make sh*t up for clicks. I'm fine with how the athletic department is run now. They'll let everyone know when they're ready to release the information.

The thing that doesnt make sense about Sooner's intel is the fact that it's coming from staff associated with OK State, right? I just don't believe different staffs are in communication with each other in that level of detail. It seems like a terrible strategy in a zero sum setup like the transfer portal.

It's easy to get blinded by all the detail, especially when he only needs to be right once or twice to get us to buy in. Guys I actually trust like SF never go into that amount of detail on the front end because it would hurt our efforts. We only get the explanation after the fact, which makes a lot more sense.

Have 6-7 more players added from this first wave then absolutely.

For as painful as our coaching and portal staff make it I will give them credit they virtually have a 80-90% hit rate with portal guys coming in and being exactly what we bring them in to be (starting CB, second RB ect).

So the method leads to nice hit rates but when you have the volume of needs we have this year you just worry they will miss out but we aren’t there yet.

How does the coaching staff make it painful? Can you expand on that?

Before we run off our latest SSVol. He claimed to know someone who has/had/is on Knowles staff. Take it for what it is and decide your salt level independently.
