yeah because OSU can't do that haha You have to pay the kid top money if you want him. Tons of programs out there can turn him into a top NFL player.

serious programs pay serious money for the best players and win ballgames. it's not rocket science.

Who are the "serious" programs?
Indiana signed three 4* players in the portal last year and several 3*, many of which from G6 schools. Fernando Mendoza and Pat Coogan were the only two highly rated transfers that had a big impact on this year's team. The other 4*(Amariyun Knighten) is back in the portal again.
Ole Miss had some good production from three of the highly rated WRs they brought in and Umanmielen on defense but their biggest impact transfers were 3* Trinidad Chambliss and 3* Kewan Lacy.
For Miami, Carson Beck's numbers were very similar to Joey's at a much higher price tag. CJ Daniels and Keelon Marion were solid contributors but they combined for less than 1,100 yards receiving. Jakobe Thomas was their best transfer defender and he was a 3* that didn't command a ton of money.
Out of Oregon's 4* transfers, Malik Benson and Jamari Johnson were the only real contributors on offense. Dillon Thieneman and Bear Alexander on defense. Their most effective transfers were on the OL.
