2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

Since you playing tracker police, how about you add it again every couple of threads so that we don't have to go back to the 1st one to see who is added.
Too hard to click a button? It takes one click. That was the whole point of my thread bc 2024 transfer portal became a cluster f of coach Sam speculation and off topic.. I actually do link it often with a “check it out” phrase

We’re going to have to get a point guard somewhere. I don’t think Wells and Wynn alone are going to cut it.

After the Auburn game in which Wynn was very good, the PG experiment failed under the previous staff. They completely forced her to play back-up PG a position she never should’ve been inserted to full-time.

Wynn should’ve been playing off the ball and as a defensive stopper off the bench. Jewel Spear should’ve been the secondary ball-handler as she was at Wake Forest for three years. So talking as if Wynn isn’t serviceable is not fair due to the fact they played her out of position and did not have to.

Saying Wells is a back-up when healthy is not a really good argument. I do not think she will start this season if she remains at UT, but in the new system she will look more like her former self… a 19.5 ppg scorer.

People overstate players not wanting to come to Tennessee. We do not even know how any of these recruiting visits have been conducted in previous years. The results have been uneven which suggests it is certainly more than a lack of interest from top players.
DW knew this and that is why he made a change.
I can not wait until in a few weeks when the “they do not want to come argument” aka excuse will be put to rest for good.

We can't force our money on top players who don't want to come here. We're going to have to prove ourselves w some big wins and contending for stuff first. Same as it ever was.
It just takes one top player to come and others will follow, you don’t always have to win first, u just been to get lucky like USC did with Juju.

Many updates on the tracker rankings and SEC tracker!

Getting pretty black

Tennessee has had four players go in the first round as Top 10 picks in the WNBA draft four years in a row so they don’t need luck. There will always be another player coming through UT.
The new coach has a vision and has proven that she has a plan as mentioned by Jewel Spear to sell the program to good players that want to be a LV.
Some people may downplay Jewel although she was projected to be drafted at the start of the season.
Jewel Spear can easily work her way into a 1st round Top 10-15 WNBA draft pick making it five years in a row.

Dude what is TCU cookin’ this year

Nothin good if you ask me lol. They have like 10 5’8” guards and then Sedona Prince who is not likely to play most of the season based on her injury history.

If he doesn’t get another big they are gonna get creamed when she inevitably goes out with an injury.

I was pretty disappointed in the way they were allowed to forfeit games last season even though they could have played. They just didn’t want to play with the 6 they had available because they didn’t manage their roster well.
