She better get at it! I don't care who she fires and who she hires I want results. I have yet to see anything promising. I'm anxious to see if she has hired a proven assistant for this level or if she is just winging it. Hoping for news this week about some recruiting visits.

The assistants leaving is expected but worrisome this late in the portal.

They weren’t able to recruit high schoolers in general. I think DW wanted a wider net and Kellie to take some chances on non “super star” names so we don’t have a situation where we have 3 players next year

Who knows tho time will tell. We don’t know the inner workings. Maybe Sam failed her interview

I’m sure everyone would be very normal and chill about a head coach with one year of D1 experience being both head coach and recruiting coordinator lol.

Well idk forsure, buy the relationships she had with HS and portal players could have helped. Idc who she hires, but imo she just put herself behind the 8 ball in recruiting. Time will tell if she can get it done.

However it still kind of is. Relationships are what brought both Jillian and Talasia to Tennessee. We were a second choice to both upon their original commitments. Yes it's fast, but your chances are much better if you built that relationship in the original recruiting process.

I think relationship is what will bring back decommits. It’s hard not to love Sam.

Well Kellie left behind ZERO HS signees, because of course she did, and everybody in the 2024 class is already off the board anyway. So yeah, it’s pretty obvious that all the recruiting this year will have to be through the portal.

If I were a coach at a mid major with the goal of getting results and movie up in the coaching world, I would hit the portal hard to accomplish that.
