We really do not know what Samantha is up to until after KJH makes a decision on what she is going to do. If I was advising KJH on her future I would tell her to go get some sort of media gig plus work in the WNBA for a year or two on a staff to help the resume. To make final fours and win NC you need players that at least think they have a shot at the league. KJH now has a record of putting players in the league. with all the hype surrounding Clark this year what really caught my attention was a picture she did for a career day when she was in elementary school where she said her goal was to play in the WNBA. As was pointed out to me numerous times here at VN was how successful the men's college game was bringing in obscure players that developed in to great college coaches. Yet at the same time telling me how different the women's game is to the men's when trying to measure scoring records etc. IMO if KJH does not take another college job this year it would probably be in Lady Vols best interest to keep Samantha on the staff

If Kellie takes any other job probably will be a mid major just not any openings in Power 5 right now. That being the case no way Willaims goes as an Assistant to one of those schools. The pay is less than half what she makes now. I think If Coach Caldwell asks her to stay she will stay with us and do the same job she is doing now.

Players can get in anytime up to May 3rd I think it is and have until the end of summer to find a home. You just have to be in not committed when the portal closes so we have a good three weeks to worry about players. As we get players out of the portal some player may think it affects them could jump in. Just hope we are going after two years to play players the most cause we need them badly.

People like to credit Jordan Horston and her Mom for getting Rickea here, and that was part of it. But the real key was Sam and the relationship they developed when Sam recruited RJ for Louisville, which was among her finalists.

Sam's been doing this at the highest level for a long time. I can't see discarding that experience in this situation.

Kellie has to make a good faith attempt to land another coaching job or else UT can void her buyout.

Any coach should be able to pick assistants without interference from the AD and supporters as long as it fits into budgetary guidelines.

It has been reported that KC took a lower salary so that her assistants could be paid more. She will succeed or fail in large part based on her choices of assistants. Let’s just hope she makes the right decisions.

I’m a fallen LV fan since the promotion of HW. The hiring of an energetic, young, charismatic coach might be enough to return to a program that can compete for championships in 2-3 years. This one year turnaround doesn’t sound realistic whether it is coming from staff or fans.

Marquette pays less than her buyout amount. The coach that just left there got 500 k at Va Tech and that was a large raise for her.
