You do whatever you want to.... I intend to watch some Lady Vol basketball games in the 2024-2025 season before drawing conclusions about "the system." This is highly reactionary - with such little to go on.

These folks are just vibe killers. The vibes were great following Coach Caldwell press conference across all social media. From the fanbase, fans from other teams, sportswriters, etc.
Of course they were going to come to their other domain VN since the reaction on Twitter was so positive to spread negativity. It’s what they do. They don’t care if players on this team enter the portal or not. They have talked about every single one of them that is returning at some point like a scrub, so what will change now?
As you stated, I’m watching LV basketball in 2024-2025 and will support the team win, lose, or draw. They have expectations for themselves that I bet won’t be dictated by a fanatic(s) not having any.

I watched enough of that tape and saw 10 very average players at that is a generous take. Coach got this group to tournament enough said. So playing time would of course be split why not. In D2 every team has same talent level so a coach who can coach is worth million dollars she Won at incredible rate. Elite players will get 30+ minutes a game she is not ignorant. Can you clarify? Jewel is a three point shooter. She is not plus athletically. But we do not have many who are. So why would a three point shooter facing limited talent to challenge her for PT not like the system?

Nothing wrong with the system except for the platoon playing time, Jewel wants to be a pro and she will want the mins on the floor to showcase her skills. If Jewel decides to stay after their meeting, I guess that means the coach is will to give her the mins she wants, otherwise she’s gone.

Actually watch Marshall. Before u assume. Also Jewel has so much to work on including athleticism.. this system could really help her even if she is subbed. Go watch it’s more natural than u think

I understand some of the pros and cons of the platoon system, but she had to do it in a way that worked for the teams she and in Division II and lowly Marshall. She seems to be a sharp whippersnapper (God, that makes me feel about 80), so I can't imagine if she had a Rickea on the team that she would insist that she have to go sit on the bench every 3 minutes. I also don't think that will be her selling pitch to top notch recruits. There have been many men's and women's teams that have versions of this type of offense but don't rely on it solely. She is young and hopefully will continue to demonstrate that she can master a fast learning curve that she has already shown so far. It may take a few years for all the elements of recruiting, learning on the job, and winning at a high level to happen, but the journey should be interesting.

AHDWH! And from reading through the gibberish, you are constantly wrong. I’m more than welcome on VN. Been having some dialogue with good folks. Not including you. You don’t have to agree with me. I don’t have to agree with you. I had the thread of the week 5k views 200+ pages in 7 days. You try to make a name for yourself by discrediting student athletes, posting negative and dumb comments about a team you claim to be supporting, and making ignorant personal comments about posters because they have a different perspective than you do.
Maybe you should make a new account and start over since you seem to know so much about being a double or triple poster. The same two or three posters like your comments so maybe you’re on to something. I’m enjoying talking LV basketball regardless.
