Did they cause issues at MSST? I thought the younger two transferred because of the coaching change, and Purcell pretty much begged Annie to stay one more year.

They were down to 9 players and only really played 7. Ines and Amari merely got off the bench even in blowouts. Ines was probably not Div 1 ready Amari was a top 10 recruit who never showed improvement over 3 years and Geno didn’t trust, even when they were desperate for size.

I could see keeping the 1 best from Harper's staff, bringing the 1 best from the Marshall staff, and bringing in the best available from outside the program.

Aislynn was there with Annie that year that things blew up between them and Rickea. If I remember correctly, Annie and Rickea almost got in a fight in the locker room and they were still talking on social media about what team needed to do. I’m sure he begged Annie to stay bc she was the one with the most talent.

I disagree, she needs someone that has ties to the '25 class and beyond. Also the 2 we lost fits her system to a tee. Long athletic guards that can shoot and handle the ball. She won't sniff them without Sam. They're huge for her to get the ball rolling in her direction.

Annie more Talented than Rickea? Give me a break. Annie will fade away just like many other very good basketball players have while Rickea has a long career in the WNBA. Annie Hayes is not nearly as talented nor never has been nearly as talented as Rickea Jackson and her attitude even if she had the talent would turn off those in the WNBA. You would probably have their awful parents trying to tell WNBA coaches how much and how they should play their princess. That is a real thing and caused more harm than good for their daughters.

The little Sister, Acacia was supposed to be pretty talented as well. Then again she left WKU in 2022 and not sure what happened with her from there.

The Darby's may need to look around. Edie might be a better fit than Tess.

Agree mostly, and I think Avery will thrive in the new system. She’s quick, rebounds, and can shoot. I think we really need a mobile post or two, Jillian does not like to play that position, and it shows, plus she is not good at passing or dribbling.
