Dubar’s release/shot looks very Lonzo/Melo Ball like.

But in some clips it looks like he starts his motion with the ball on the left side of his body then everything after looks normal.

Chaz’s shot kinda reminds me of JJJ’s

Left side draw, yep. I wondered how that would translate in the SEC with the idea of Vescovi being neutered by the defenses in this league...even tho Dubar isn't a 2,, but the more I think about it, the less concern I have. Dubar is a far better athlete than Vescovi. He can take guys off the dribble whereas Vescovi was simply a spot up guy. Same deal with Lanier. You get too aggressive on him and he's by you.

Yeah the ones complaining about their athletic ability forget Vescovi was a starter here.

Vescovi’s shot was slower than smoke off ****, but it still worked.

I’m not worried

Dubar’s shot does look similar to Lonzo at ucla or early NBA, starts his shot low and on his left side. Lonzo was able to fit his shot eventually in the nba before his injuries.

Lanier’s looks like he starts it little far away from his body.

Hell, even DK has a pretty unorthodox release with his off hand at an unconventional place on the ball at release

It's going to sound like sour grapes, and honestly I'd still take Tyson in a heartbeat... but watching the film on him he was the guy I was most worried about. Igor looks quicker and smoother off the dribble. Dubar is a lot more explosive as well.

So if we don't get him I won't be completely devastated (especially if we land Igor).

Ben McKee is saying we’re still in it 🤷‍♂️ I trust trilly more than any of our guys, sans AP, but maybe there’s a glimmer of hope

Or a meeting to see if we'd beat the UNC offer? Regardless, when UNC got involved, I knew we wouldn't come out on top in this one. Makes Lanier an even bigger priority tho.
Yeah even though Tyson plays a different position getting Lanier is paramount, we need his scoring ability in the lineup

Here's what McKee said:
Tennessee went to visit Belmont guard Cade Tyson on Monday night. I continue to think that the Vols are in a really good spot with Tyson, a better spot than most people realize. He really enjoyed his official visit two weekends ago and hit it off the with the program in a big way. Will be interesting to see what happens if Igor Milicic Jr. pulls the trigger before Tyson, because Darlinstone Dubar, Milicic and Tyson all have very similar games/play similar positions ... and I also believe Tennessee is as in good of a position with Milicic as it possibly could be.

Interesting that AP dropped that GIF after Tennessee had their meeting with Tyson, continue to be a see it to believe it deal, but interesting nonetheless.

Absolutely love the Anderson news, I’ve been begging for that one for awhile.
Very interesting and Anderson has like 3 years of eligibility he can easily back up Dubar at the 3 and be a starter next year. Tyson can play the 2 and 3. These lineups will be long if we get these guys
