This is ridiculous! If your gonna be the best you've got to beat the best. We are UT and we're not afraid of anyone. Admins are scared and probably have Buffalo already lined up to fill. This may be backlash from that coach that committed the unforgiveable sin of reading the N word off a players iPad too ... UT not associating with bigots ya know. Why don't we just go ahead and join the Sunbelt Conference at this point?

Conference play is about to get even more difficult. Win the conference and that’s statement enough imo.

We might be in a 9 conference/3 OOC game schedule at that point. Though unlikely unless other teams have been told to cancel games. At this point it's very unlikely we can get another power to play. Most schedules are set well out there. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have to get an FCS school.

UGA was told to cancel their game with OU next season. OU and Texas will be in the SEC next season.

Playing service academies is a terrible idea. They run an offense no one else does so you have to take a whole week of practice to prepare for something you won’t see the rest of the year. Plus the risk of injury is higher. Inky Johnson against Air Force is a prime example.

none of those have an opening to schedule a game. The only P5 options for 24 are NC State, Duke, Northwestern or Rutgers.
