Just saw one of the first transfer portal tweets of this season that we are involved in, figured many more would follow and this would be a good spot to house them.

He’s from Charlotte, actually visited Tennessee a couple of times as a recruit unofficially and was here for a camp day as well. He’s got some weight issues which would be a dynamic that he’d have to get past.

Except the fact that he’s not. Competition level matters a lot and he’s a prime example. If he could play like that at this level, he never would have left.

Surely you understand the difference between playing in the SEC and the Big South? Maybe not since you posted this.

No…just no. There is a massive difference between playing in the Big South versus playing in the SEC. Put ON, Aidoo, or Awaka on a Big South roster and they would put up some awesome numbers too.

Seems as if some people have already forgotten that EJ Anosike was a walking double double at a low major school. Came here and was a total non factor by the time conference play rolled around. Perfect illustration of how big the gap between SEC and a low major school really is.

PF/C. Only 6’8” but a big body who can step out and shoot (33%ish from 3 in 155 attempts). Honestly hope we do better than him in the portal this year, but he’ll be a decently hot commodity as you can tell from that list.
