First to finger! HA!

After seeing these, what I am really wondering is how we look compared to last year at this time? are we more crisp, etc. I have to imagine we are in a different place. I mean last year at this time, we didn't even have the QB situation truly settled, all the schemes were completely new, etc. So I have to think that there is a lot more familiarity with things this year that should help to get to another gear. Clearly we still have a long way to go to catch up to be a consistent top 5 team but hoping we are building that next layer on that helps us get there.
From the tapes I have seen, we look much bigger and quicker than we did last year. Our OL is massive and will be a factor this Fall. We just look more like a big time football team so far.

Agree...so hard to tell. Maybe scrimmages will give us better context. Logic says our WRs are "plug and play" w/ new talent replacing departing talent...and that back 7 core w/ about same folks w/ a few new additions, should be better w/ another year and more focus...but, may have to wait until Pitt to tell much?

He is he is

Rounds out the third team LB unit

Looks like we are in a much better spot right now than were last year at this time.

Hard to imagine we won't be better out at LB this year. Especially with Mitchell looking ready. Banks, Beasley, Page all back. Ya gotta feel pretty good about your top four, then Pak Garland, Mohan, Jackson Hannah and Herring whose impressing.

More reasons to feel good about this season.

Special Teams should be much improved, which were pretty good already last year

LOL only 9 years of my life.
Well then what are you talking about ??
- first day shorts
- next 2 shells
- 4th day full pads!.

This or a variation of it is how it's always been done at every level of every state!

So either you have alzheimers, or you didn't play.

Nothing wrong with my memory at all. We never practiced in shells and the only time we practiced in shorts was the day before the games. Spring practices were full pads every day. To act like these players MUST start off in shorts is asinine.

I wouldn’t be feeling good about Beasley. Let’s hope Mitchell wins the starting job.

I think it is actually an ncaa rule that the first 2 day are not in full pads.
