Cherokee County’s Whit Johnson recently ran a 4.51 laser time at the Atlanta (Rivals) Combine and came in first out of 705 prospects. Johnson ran a 4.44 at the JSU camp, ran a 10.91 100m at state this year and has completed camps this year at UAB, Auburn, Tennessee, UT Chattanooga, JSU, and the Atlanta Rivals Combine.

At Julius Chambers HS last fall, Mekhi Bigelow (6-2, 195) started at DE opposite James Pearce. Haven't been able to find his season stats but in the state championship game, Bigelow finished with 8 tackles and 1.5 TFL.
