SIAP, and I don't usually post a lot. I saw the thread on SEC starting lineups by star rankings and thought I would post this as well. Granted Alabama leads the way by a wide margin, but the rest of the SEC comparison shows to me we have talent. Like a lot of posts on here, they mention lack of depth and that is true based on the low number of scholarship players had after the mass exodus from the Pruitt debacle. Anyway I have listed below the number of players on the 3 teams. The total first followed by number on each team 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
Alabama- 20 Total (10, 4, 6)
Texas A&M-9 Total (1, 5, 3)
Georgia-9 Total (6, 2, 1)
Tennessee-8 Total (1, 3, 4)
Auburn-6 Total (2, 3, 1)
Florida-5 Total (1, 1, 3)
LSU-4 Total (2, 1, 1)
Arkansas-4 Total (2, 1, 1)
SC-4 Total (0, 2, 2)
Ole Miss-Total 3 (1, 1, 1)
Kentucky-Total 3 (0, 2, 1)
Missouri-Total 2 (0, 0, 2)
Miss St.- Total 1 (0, 1, 0)
Vandy-Total 0 (0, 0, 0)
