2021 Fall Practice #6

There was a reason the coaches prioritized bringing in transfer QB after the Spring game.

Salter was not looking like a keeper. Also, I think Coach rated Milton highly as a recruit. When he came available, Heupel did not hesitate.

Laugh if you want.... I really do not care. His stats do not lie. He had opportunities at Michigan, he was the starter probably based off the same sentiments everyone is spewing... Look at the thread comparing him to Tebow... lol. You must be one of those.
You can find articles from Michigan that say the exact same things as we see this year - receivers bragging on him, just what UM offense needs, physical specimen, etc. But, ultimately it didn't work. Maybe it was the injury, bad coaching, bad attitude, or he just needed a change in scenery. IMHO, I am skeptical of a guy who had the job and walked away.

Throwing against air is mainly for timing with receivers. Scrimmages are the real deal to show game skills. We see a couple of timing practice and none of the scrimmage. Any of them could show out in back to back scrimmages, but I think BM is struggling to keep up.

Keep in mind everyone got a fresh start. Doesn’t matter about stats from Michigan, Virginia Tech or UT.
Coach will pick whomever gives us the best shot to win, unfortunately the other three will have to put their big bot britches on and continue to compete and push or over take the starter.

Yeh we've seen it year after year. A QB flops at one school and transfers only to be a heisman darkhorse somewhere else. What they did at their previous stops means nothing here.

24/7 guy said the same thing

It SEEMS like it's moving towards a Hooker/Milton battle. Watching Bailey's passes I see too many that sort of balloon out of his hand, like the trajectory of the pass. They usually end up over the WR's head. I never see those types of passes from Milton/Hooker although granted we see very little of practice.
