Blind leading the blind, somebody get to Phillip before he gives him an extension.

Muschamp is a cancer. He was fired from Florida and now from South Carolina both times for failing to do the job he was hired for. Both schools also had serious player issues under him. He is a man-child

If we bring on Muschamp, it means Pruitt stays no matter what happens the rest of the year. We could lose to Vandy by 30 and Pruitt wouldn’t be going anywhere.

I also worry how these two would get along.

SC isn't sitting back. Getting ahead of the curve. Wanna bet their first call is to Freeze?
Won’t matter. He’ll wait for the best offer. Lest anybody forget, they had a “head start” when Spurrier quit mid-season. Targeted Smart and Herman...ended up with Muschamp.

He’s not coming on board THIS SEASON.

His last season as a DC in 2015 Auburn finished in the bottom 4 in the SEC in yards allowed, points allowed, sacks and forced turnovers, and 76th nationally in total defense, once he left it finished 6th the next year. Before that his last season as a DC was at Texas in 2010, Texas finished 50th nationally in total defense. His last top 10 finish as a DC was in 2007.

At South Carolina his defense is ranked 104th currently and was ranked 53rd or lower 3 of the last 4 seasons. It's been well below Tennessee's defense the last two years.

Any defensive prowess he had seems to have passed him by and was a part of the old era of football vs the new, wide open, offense wins era we are currently seeing.
I just freaking hate statisticians.

Stats in football are a bit important. I.E. saying someone is great at suppressing important statistical numbers when in reality they've not been good at it in a long time and part of the time they were good at it was when they were with the best defensive coach in modern football history.

I didn't think I could hate statisticians more. Thanks.

You've got to be kidding me right? My God that dude ran what little bit of respect USCjr had into the ground (SOS days) and we want to hire this moron for the defense? So a defensive guru gets run out of town by LSU, bent over and shown the 50 states by A@M (who we still have to play), and was ass raped by Lane Kiffin and a valley boy QB. Lord Jesus, please help us for we know not what we do. Cocks over there laughing their ass off at the prospect of this. Gators gonna have a field day with this ****.

Cocks over there laughing? He was their coach, not ours. Go back to school--not quite ready yet.

Never heard about player issues at USCjr (don't recall UF issues)... Link?

He's a respected coordinator, just not head coach material..

This is brilliant, Muschamp has HC experience, he can take over when we finally fire Pruitt midseason next year. That Fulmer is a sharp one.
