That would be a great hire IMO. He is considered one of the best defensive minds in the business and he seems to recruit well on the defensive side if the ball. Plus we can probably get him pretty cheap since SC is paying the bill
But he said something mean about our fans once after kicking our butts... Too many hurt feelings to make this move according to many on this board.

According to everything I have heard they have a great relationship.

I dont think Pruitt wants to give up control of the D. That's why hes hired 2 under-qualified guys to be DC.

If Pruitt is willing to actually wanting to be a HC, then Muschamp would be a good hire. If Pruitt wants to continue calling DL and LB alignments, then hiring Muschamp would be a waste of $$$

This is not a shot at Shelton Felton but could you honestly blame Pruitt for replacing him with Coach Boom? Move Neids to special teams coordinator or back to TE coach where he can just recruit and doesn’t have to worry much about teaching. Then let CWM coach the LB’s and Ansley Coach the Secondary both sharing the Co DC title. If you can somehow get Bo Davis or Tosh to come coach the DL it would be a filthy combination.

My name on here has nothing to do with Lane Kiffin, butchna. You should know this by now. It has been almost 20 years,
I’ve been on for 7. So it’s not Lane or Marlin? 😏 And aren’t you an advocate for Kiff...regardless?

Not an advocate for Lane Kiffin ever. I do recognize that he is an offensive guru but I am not one of the people asking for him to come back to Tennessee. I blame him for the mess we are in. He single handily destroyed the University of Tennessee by leaving the way he did.

Before Pruitt got here we considered him the best defensive coordinator. If muschamp is hired I won’t throw a tantrum over it. I just literally hate his face. He seems like the kind of coach that should get punched in the face. Reminds me of Bobby Knight. I wonder how many former players actually like him.

I stand corrected. Carry on.
