2020 Presidential Race

If trump had won this election would the same amount of concern be placed on mail in ballots?
My opinion of what happened is that Democrats worked hard on expanding the ability of folks to vote by mailing in ballots. Once Trump and his team realized an increased turnout wasn’t a good thing for them, they began to sow the seeds of doubt abt the legitimacy of the election.

Of course not. There were 4.7 million mail ins in Florida and no one here cares. Mail ins could arrive long after election day in North Carolina and no one here cares.

If Trump had won AZ, GA, PA, MI, NV, and WI all by 1 vote then those elections would be viewed as just fine.

Haha. No, dems are lazy and it’s easier to cheat when so many cite by mail and that’s why you all pushed the plandemic.
We don’t need more morons voting. We don’t need people going to vote just because LeBron James and Taylor Swift tell them it’s cool to do so.
Ah. Ok. Makes sense.

Gracias!
I’m not arguing against it. Any system used to make such a consequential decision should be tested, retested, and tested again. If there is fraud then it needs to be smoked out and the results should be adjusted accordingly.
What I see more than anything on here is trump fan after trump fan posting links or Twitter feeds from conspiracy mongers.

I can agree with you on most of that. An oak can grow from an acorn, though; so how can you or anyone else say for fact that there's no credibility in the allegations "from conspiracy mongers"? I've sat through many classes when most of the class was trying to figure something out, and finally somebody had the gall to ask "the dumb question". Generally it turns out the "dumb question" isn't so dumb after all; things more frequently boil down more to stupid answers than to stupid questions. For example, I have no problem with someone asking why a computer, server, or other election device that is "not connected to the internet" would have network card.

The quickly implemented vote by mail schemes were ripe for fraud, and if the election had gone the other way, I'd bet a different group of people would have been asking the same questions ... just different "conspiracy mongers".

He’s now, officially, President-Elect Biden. Let’s hope that aneurysm in his brain holds on until 2024 so he and Kamala and retire from politics at the same time.

I don't like the guy, but specifically, what did he do to fail? What did you expect him to do, where he disappointed?
I thought he did his job the way it is supposed to be done. He isn't supposed to be the presidents wing man and it sure isn't his job to let the public know who the DOJ is investigating .

I don’t disagree.

What I don’t quite understand is why the validity of the current election is being questioned and seemingly under a microscope, while every election I’ve paid attention to (since about 1976) has never seemingly had these issues.

Maybe they have had similar issues but not the strange inexplicable issues in the middle of the night. Elections have always had questions, and they've typically been cleared with some hand waving. It seems like hand waving hasn't been good enough this time.

No doubt there are always going to be those claiming fraud if they lose, regardless of the party. I would just argue that trump planted that seed early once he realized the dynamics at play.
At the end of the day, I think we’re both saying the same thing. I want fair elections and I will accept the outcome regardless of whether or not the candidate I supported won.
