I'm concerned about the election being over turned in the courts for just cause.

That means the problems are excessive, deep and pervasive. No easy remedy either. The fall out would be awful.

I always thought the legal process involved two parties appearing in court with allegations and evidence and disputing claims and counter claims until there was enough "truth" to come to a verdict. I suppose if you had absolute "proof" then the niceties of a court could be avoided. Of course there's always more to the game involving inadmissibility of "facts" etc; but if you simply begin by blowing off allegations including sworn affidavits by observers, then you never have to worry about what might happen in a trial. The downside is that in this instance about half the country is going to call foul - not because they know what happened, but because they would like a better understanding of what went on and to clear the air of fraud or the appearance of fraud. The other half don't care; they are happy as pigs in slop because their candidate won.

How would she have the "evidence" if the evidence is controlled access and she doesn't have access? It's a catch 22. Appearance of fraud is different from having the numbers to prove fraud. If the numbers and the counting mechanism are locked up beyond her grasp then she can't have the evidence prove fraud. It's a nice neat way that all bureaucracies use to protect themselves.

Much of this has already been through court and rejected. The Trump strategy doesn't just include litigation, however. He is also trying to subvert democracy by way of "faithless" electors. This centers around the idea that Republican-controlled state legislatures should ignore the vote and instead send Trump's slate of electors to the Electoral College. That is the absolute worst thing that could happen to our country right now. I don't think anyone is concerned about Biden's victory being overturned in court.

The fall out will be awful indeed but if these allegations are true they absolutley have to be dealt! The media needs to start doing their job and actually investigate these things.

The media would investigate the claims of fraud being made in these affidavits that Rudy Giuliani waves around at his press conferences... if they knew the names of the people who were making claims of fraud. Giuliani wont release the affidavits to the media, because he doesn't want them scrutinized. He knows that they would be discredited.

First the accuser(s) need to show evidence. Secondly, I'm assuming ballots exist and match numbers like GA has showed. But what you have here is the spaghetti approach of accusing everything and offering no evidence, while saying they plan to be given a jury trial, in time...


Its a sham, delay tactic while Trump is angling to have the legislatures just give him the votes, rather than letting the citizens vote count.

Then you have people citing evidence that hasn't been presented as justification for him doing so.

Does that sound very American?

You know this for a fact? That's his reason for not releasing them?

Why not ask him via twitter?

Or the press will just have to work a little bit harder to investigate as if everything they do is served up on a silver platter.

It's out there, go find it, I can imagine Perry White telling that to Clark Kent.

We will find out soon enough. Im sure these people have requested a little privacy until this goes to court. Their jobs are probably on the line in a lot of cases
