2020 Presidential Race

Just watching a story about Iowa Caucasus. Lady holding a two year old kid just said she would like a President that is more mature than her fussy kid. Smart lady.

Did she say she wanted one that was wanting to give more entitlements, raise taxes, put criminals on the street, and have worse bowel control?

Member when journalists were telling people this on Twitter, and everyone laughed, and then those journalists got laid off, and people told them learn to code, and they got all pissy and Twitter started banning people?

That was awesome.
One of the biggest hypocrisies out there. Typical liberal move too lol

There's no empirical evidence that suggests you will see more OD's or more violence if hard drugs are legal. The one case we've seen in Portugal showed decreases in OD, increases in treatment, and lowered violent crime wherein drugs were involved.

I don't think it's observed enough how much drug related violent crime occurs because drugs are illegal.
Portugal is a weird case. I remember getting into it with Huff. IIRC their overall usage of drugs and violence are down, but it matches exactly to their economy. Where historically if the economy is down more people turn to drugs, but when the economy is up it drops. Portugal like a lot of countries is still going well economically for the last bit. Will need to see a downturn to make a fair comparison.

They have seen increases in use of heroin and weed but everything else is down.

They also have a rehab program that treats users, that the creator specifically mentioned it wouldnt work in the US. There is a good Vice article from a year or so ago.
