Your post was basically that the tea party got corrupted. But what about it’s non politician supporters? Sure, some are still rightfully upset about the debt, but many seem perfectly okay with the status quo now.

Oh there are better ways to produce energy. No doubt. You wont see me fighting against any alternate fuel, just maybe the requirements to use those alternates.

But we cant ignore the people aspect. Even if we could feed the whole population off of bacteria and lab grown stuff it still will take an ever increasing amount of resources to do it.

He's not going to get on stage with either one of them running 3rd party. Sucks but that's reality.

Ahh, I understand.

Yes, you have somewhat of a point. The only problem with your assertion is with how many Rs (TP Rs included) have been primaried and lost for not following through on promises.

Not the type of "close" in the poll but I actually think trump and Bernie are good political comparisons to each other.

1. Really devout following
2. Outside the typical command structure of either party
3. Represent the extremes of the party
4. Not afraid to run their mouths
5. More famous for running their mouths than doing anything in government
6. Old rich white dudes
7. Scare the bejesus out of anyone not fully behind them. Not a whole lot of support outside of the hardcore few.

They are mirror images of each other. Bernie is a populist also. Bernie just has a lot less backbone than Trump.
