2020 Presidential Race

Studying an issue doesn't imply support. It means he wants more facts and research, what is wrong with that? It is far better to study an issue, gather the facts, and then make a decision, as opposed to Tweeting out some random thought you have on the toilet at 4 in the morning.

Oh horsesh**. He’s attempting to pander to a group by dangling a carrot of free sh** for a vote. It’s a waste of time and money as there's nothing to study. Nobody deserves to be paid for something that happened over 100 years ago to someone else. At some point in history everyone has got the short end of the stick. Where’s my free money? If anything we need a candidate that calls for true equality, makes everyone have personal responsibility, and do away with all the race baiting policies we have now.

Reparations doesnt even deserve research. Its idiotic.
You can call abortion "a womans right to her own body" if it makes you feel better, its still abortion.
He said america was never as great as advertised or something along those lines. When i heard the clip i instantly laughed at how dumb he is. Way to shoot yourself in the foot there pete.
As i said, ZERO chance.
I don't think cash reparations are a viable option. Neither does Pete. Nothing wrong with looking into it. Lets get some research and facts, then go from there.
Not going to get in to the abortion debate here, there are many other threads for it. But he does not support 3rd trimester abortion.
I've never once heard him say America was never as great as advertised. I've heard him say American can be better. I don't think that is such a bad thing to say.

I would say Bernie Sanders is main figure in the Far Left movement. I do like who he is as a person, but I think he's promising way too much that he can't possibly do. I don't think all progressives are nut-jobs either. I am extremely opposed to the dehumanization caused by the Fringes. No matter what side you're on, dehumanization of the other side gets people killed. Both the Far Right and Far Left do this to all the others on the other side.

Kamala never directly said police state, but she wants to 1) Basically Ban all Firearms, 2) Put in censoring laws, 3) expand the federal government including law enforcement. I am sorry, but those 3 things scare me as a citizen.
Bernie doesn't strike me as a bad dude at all, and I give him a lot of credit. He has stuck to his guns for decades and seems genuine. I just think he is a little too left for most Americans. Agreed on the fringes, bad for all of us.

I don't think Kamala is as extreme on gun control as she is made out to be. Also, I'm not sure what censorship laws you are speaking of. Hard to keep up with all these candidates. lol

If cash reparations aren’t an option then what are you gonna give them that they don’t receive now? It’s a waste of time, effort, money, and will only fuel the divide Obama stirred up. The sooner we get away from all the “color” based incentives and crutches the better. If we can erase the confederate history then we can erase slavery as well.

She will be the first to pivot hard if she went to the general. Bernie's problem will actually be his consistency.

Might help the Bern, who knows at this point. The only sure thing is that Trump will keep doing Trump stuff. Hard to gauge how people will react this time around.

Prior to it there may have been some who were in the Warren camp on this. But given his resounding success, I'd say his choice to go on Fox is catapulting him to top 5 status.

At this point the nomination is Biden's to lose. He's a reassuring figure and the party will have no problem rallying around him to beat Trump. I still say his VP pick is Harris. Rounds out the age gap issue and will promote turnout by black voters and women. Also gives an edge in the Midwest.

Other than far west fly overs and the Deep South Biden ought to start from between 5 and 15 points up across the board. A popular and electoral landslide very much in play. Would be good to reunite the country.

No way he picks Harris as a running mate.

I'm not a fan, but I don't think she wants to be subjected to Creepy Joe's groping and drunk texting even if it means she's potentially a heartbeat away from the Oval Office.

I was thinking more of the political baggage she has.
