I believe you brought the what aboutism into the conversation. I, however, don't need to go there because the acts of molesting a child on video in front of the world speaks for itself. It's indefensible, it's very very publicly done and creepy uncle Joe is a well earned name.
And pray tell me are their " sides and whataboutisms" when it comes to protecting children?

Did you know that Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, owns more than a dozen apartment complexes in Baltimore that rent to lower income tenants, which have also been cited for hundreds of code violations? That city definitely has problems and Trump's own family has contributed to the neglect. Ironic, isn't it?

Google "Jared Kushner, Baltimore Landlord". What I said is 100% true.

Counter point, the Dem controlled House is divisive and antagonistic as well. Would you like to call them out for these wasted investigations that detract from their time to address legislation that might actually help the country? Several House members also have a penchant for using Twitter to fight their wars, most notably the Squad. The picture isn't as one sided as you're trying to paint. Trump is a loudmouth bully, but he's not the only one, just the only one you're calling out.

You mean you look forward to having a hyper-partisan, Trump minion in the position who will only report intelligence which Trump wants to hear (which is that Russia did NOT target election systems in all 50 states in 2016 as the Senate panel documented, and will not be attempting to in 2020 either). That is not patriotism. It's political partisanship which has no place at all in our intelligence community. Ratcliffe's grilling of Mueller last week was essentially a dry run for this nomination, after Devin Nunes turned it down (Nunes is holding out for CIA Director in 2021 if Trump is reelected.). Trump wants "Yes, men". Whether or not a nominee is qualified for the position, is purely secondary. "Loyalty" to Trump is all that matters - with "loyalty" being strictly defined as reporting only information that is favorable to Trump and to his desired narrative.

Trump's a sly ole dude...perhaps he and others were following the money trail? Granted I'm pi$$ed if it takes $16B to get the rats to take that very expensive cheese since it's on our tab, but if the rat trail leads to a nest then cost is relative to outcome.

It probably would be to asking to much to expect the POTUS to actually GAS about all 50 states, not to mention all of those cesspool cities, especially NYC.
