I'd like to see us in a tournament with some teams like, Villanova, Butler, Miami, UNC, MTSU, Murray St., St. Marys.....I'd love to see us in a tournament like this.

I wish that there would be more variety in terms of potential opponents when it comes to these tournaments; I'm excited to play in Charleston, but we're already playing against Florida State and potentially VCU in this year's Emerald Coast Classic.

I thought the same thing when I saw the list of teams. I thought for a second I was reading an old thread bumped.

This is weird. Where is variety in the opponent selection? Does Tennessee not get a say in where they play? Two years in a row we'll be in a tournament with FSU and VCU. I miss playing in the bigger tournaments with Villanova, North Carolina, etc. Going to be hard to get too excited for this one. Although the potential matchup with OSU and Cade Cunningham is intriguing to say the least.

That was also my first thought.

Coastal Carolina also hosts a holiday tournament and maybe UT will play in that tournament sometime.

My guess is we won't be matched up against them early in the tournament next year.
