2019 Wide Receivers

Both have talent but they aren't putting up big numbers. At the UT pro day, their abilities could be on show for scouts.
Stallworth & Kelly Washington make a so called pact to declare for NFL,together but Washington tricked him at last moment
If I felt confident that my numbers would not get better next year, I would leave college too. Example: Josh Malone
The difference is that all of those guys (while not being truly elite receivers in the context of UT’s history of wide receivers) put up far better stats in college before they went pro. Also, Stallworth had elite speed. Neither Jennings nor Calloway have elite speed. I’m not certain that they have even above average speed for a wide receiver.

Hes 7th round imo...
But his tenacity will keep him on a team And he'll make key plays. I hope he can make himself a little money...
He’ll do it by landing on a practice squad, or making an impact on special teams. I can see him growing into being a team’s 3rd or 4th WR. He has great size and (like you said) great tenacity. But he’s very limited in other areas, mainly his lack of speed. His “dog” mentality lands him on a roster, but I think he’ll have to take the UDFA route.

I hate it the kid Pruitt found last year (outside of Atlanta) flipped to Miami on signing day. He had some crazy measurables. We've definitely missed on some WRs the last couple of cycles. We desperately needed to add a big time receiver in this cycle.
That worked out well for him. His freaking coach retired around that time and waited until now to announce.

If you look at it, we're very top heavy at receiver. Doubtful that any of our 2019 sophmore receivers become contributors. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if all of them transferred this offseason.

Meanwhile, Tillman came from a run heavy offense and by all accounts is somewhat of a project. Means has a lot of physical tools but himself is a lower rated likely project.

You can see why the staff wants to take another receiver this recruiting cycle, and I think receiver ends up being a big priority next season.

What seems to be the problem with Pruitts sophomores??

Document the forty time or shut the heck up.
Proof or no proof he's at best a late round prospect. He'll have to run 4.69 or lower at the combine to even get considered at WR, and that's if he even gets invited to the combine. He'd be a terrific tight end if he could gain 40 lbs and still run 4.7. We'll see down the road I guess. I'm a Jennings fan and love how he plays, I wish our LBs played with his mentality, I just feel that he's a really good college guy but a bit slow to play wideout at the next level.

So what happened to Grey? Wasn't he a highly touted 4 star?
At safety...he's got a tweener body that the staff hasn't been able to find where he would fit the best. He's got the athleticism but he just hasn't translated well at the college level yet.
