depends on what he was making per year. ur making 9 bucks an hour and just get by, most people will say, yeah he doesnt make enough to fire over 'just getting by' but if you're making 250k a year as an attorney and you lose every big case the firm hands you, chances are they are gonna throw u out the door and hire someone else.

But if you're hired do do a specific job and have improved year to year, do you dump ridiculous expectations in the mix (how many active coaches have been to F4s in their first 5 seasons) and then say times up. well i havent seen the contract but i would expect some requirements in there for his raise. like, you need to win the SEC in the 2nd year of your renewed contract or Make the elite 8 otherwise we are docking your pay a million.
