2019 OT Chris Akporoghene Commits to UT

For Bob Kesling:

Chris Ah-per-OH-guh-nay (say it 10 times and it comes out naturally).

(the k is silent, or so nearly silent that I couldn't hear it when Chris said his name)

(and the "guh" syllable is more accurately "geh" with a hard g sound; listed it "guh" because most Americans will use soft g in front of an e)

Is that really how it's pronounced?

Luckily for Kesling, you rarely have to call out an O-lineman's name (if he is doing his job).:)

Welcome home, Chris Akporoghene, Jr.!

(I saw his Hudl highlights and the man is tough! He blocks them completely out of the play into the ground, and if they get up right back down again and on a few, I saw him block the first level then go and flatten someone else. He opens big holes for the offense and looks equally solid on both run and pass.)

Boom!

I have always said that if you want to be a successful college football program you have to have good O-Line classes. A lot of people get swept up in the hype of a skill buy but the big boys make the difference! Good get. Now we need another one!

Maybe my work blocks them. It doesn't show on my work computer unless I take the s off the http. I checked on my phone and it's good, so idk what's going on.
sounds like your jobs internal network does not trust the certs or does not have the intermediates isntalled

Revised OP. Akporoghene has just gotten a 6-point boost in the 247 rankings, which boosted us from 19th to 18th.
