2019 Offensive Starting Lineup (with new recruits)

QB-...
RB- Chandler/ Jordan
TE- Wood-Anderson

LT- Tatum (4th year)
LG- Richmond (5th year)
C- R Johnson (4th year)
RG- J Johnson ( 4th year)
RT- Morris (5 star freshman)

FL- Palmer
SE- Callaway
SL- Jennings

This is offense can be good with the right man at QB.
Wonder what moving Richmond from RG to LG does for his performance?
One other thought... could Richmond move to Guard and get support by not being on an island at Tackle?

EDIT... I should have said moving Richmond from RT to LT or even a guard position... better or worse or does not matter, performance still remains the same... he remains a liability.

Asking for a friend.

Wright in 2 deep and we supposedly have a terrible ol?
VN gets it’s scout on from time to time. Declared him not ready with no preponderance of actual evidence. He’s an athletic big body and RT was designed for him.

It means the pressure will be right up the middle instead of on the edge.

I'm sure Richmond is a fine young man and this isn't a personal insult to him. But my first assessment of whether or not our line is improved next year is going to be if someone unseated him on the 1st string.

Right - Cades Mays was 5 star and started many games for the Bulldogs this season. Our two big OT recruitment's cannot start on an OL that is considered abysmal by most observers ? If the UT OL is as bad as most people believe, both Morris and Wright will be starters next year.

You didn’t read that book where incoming 5 stars can start of Bama and Ohio State teams loaded with 5 stars but that doesn’t happen here? Long title but engaging novel.

Ryan Johnson has an almost identical recruiting profile to Lampley and no way he should have been starting this year. The thread was about next years line. You have two very highly rated linemen that will be the only two that have any promise of helping next year. So, the rest are projects. That’s a fact.
The two that should take a big step next year are j Johnson and carvin .. rare for a Fr OL to really help an OL. It happens but is far from the norm even at bama so

He's played better when on the left side. But he's not good enough at tackle.

Yup, like all college players, he has reached his peak with 2 years remaining. You never see any QBs make a senior jump. Never ever ever ever.
Yeah no one is apparently old enough to remember the legend of one Jonathan Crompton.

Or remember the discussions revolving around Ainge after his sophomore season. Maybe 5 fans out of 100000 thought he could turn it around... but he did with some good coaching.
