Is this for real? If so, ZOUNDS!!!!! We may hit 1 or 2 million in 2020, if not 6mil.

After dealing with a $6.5 million deficit the previous year, the Tennessee Vols athletic budget reported a nearly $790 million surplus for fiscal year 2019, which ended June 30.

Okay now if they were making 790 million a year I think I'd be more open to the whole "pay the players" thing.

Still though. 790 million. What a sum. For 790 million, you could have _TWO_ Tennessee programs. Two football stadiums. Two teams. Tennessee Orange AND Tennessee White. A world where you could watch Tennessee whip Alabama and Florida on the same day. I mean live. In person. Watch one in Neyland, walk across the river to Neyland East, watch the other beat Alabama.

In other words -- a moment of perfect beauty.

Yep. It is very difficu;t to go from a dficit of 6.5 million to a surplus of 790 million when you have income about 145-150 million. Someone is cooking the books.
Someone is laundering money from the looks of it lol. Check Neyland for Jimmy Hoffa
