There weren't many good games to choose from this week, so we have a couple of duds on the list.

Guys, welcome to the 15th annual weekly pick contest, which will last the entire season and consist of 13 weekly entries.

Each week I will select 10 games from around college football, which will be posted usually on Monday. However, this week and next will be Tuesday due to the Georgia Tech game being on Monday. I will not include any Thursday or Friday games, just to keep things consistent with the entry deadline.

All entries will be due before noon (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

The season winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.

In order to be eligible to win, your user name for the contest, must match your VolNation user name. If you're reading this and don't have an account, you can register here. It's free and simple.

Also, I strongly suggest setting up a recurring reminder on your computer or phone. If you miss a week, you can still have fun competing with other members, but it will be really hard for you to win the contest.

Given Hurricane Florence, the NCSU, UVA and UNC games may not be played this weekend..

@Freak The 2 NC Games have been canceled and the VA game is going to be canceled.

Hey Freak.

I got 6 wins week 1.

I got 7 wins week 2.

I have 12 wins in season standings.

Ciphering ain't my strong suit, but that seems wrong. Others might be wrong too if'n mine is.

7-3 this week...still tied for 4th overall (or 52nd depending on how you fill your glass).
This week's match ups are intriguing...very tempted to take Syracuse over FSU myself.
Like some others, I am going to sit and wait to see what role the weather might play as well...

@Freak i'm an idiot and allowed chrome to autocorrect Volsome into volnation in week 1 so my weak 5 pts went under volnation for week 1....any way we can fix it just in case miracles happen :) THANKS!

North Carolina and NC State games are cancelled, FWIW.

UVA game might still be played but could likely be cancelled as well. UPDATE: UVA/Ohio will play the game at Vandy's stadium in Nashville.

Everybody stay dry and safe if you are affected by this weather.
