2018 Recruit Rankings

UCONN may not have a great recruiting class but they will have three number 1 players (no 1 in their HS senior year) next year to put on the floor at the same time. Like Amb3096 said if they also get ONO, that would be a team to beat with Geno as the coach.

Just makes sense to me. She obviously wants to win championships... And I hate to admit it but Uconn has won the most in the past few years! However, I am disappointed in her as I thought her an Ododa would go to USC and try and win them another championship? This leaves me to believe Ododa is not going to South Carolina? JMO

This makes me think that Ododa is either going to Uconn or not South Carolina!!!!! When Decosta chose Baylor that ended our chance of getting them both? JMO

Williams wanted to get some recruits together and help Tennessee or South Carolina win!!! But Decosta wanted to go to Baylor and now (Ododa ). I think wants another school ? So if she wants to win Uconn was where she has to go for her best chance in winning!!!! Just My Opinion :)

Williams is not the consensus number one player. Collier was the number one on Prospects Nation and Blue Star. 2017 it was Westbrook and Walker sharing honors with different services. They will certainly be as talented as anybody and have the best coach and developer of talent. Still Baylor is loaded and so is Texas.
Ododa goes there then their roster again looks to be the best next season and SC falls out of the top ten. If she goes elsewhere depending on where it is she lifts that team into contention.

I’ve not seen her play but she will be a freshman and will battle the same constraints that all other freshmen face. Maybe she will make a huge impact where she goes or maybe she will be a good role player. Time will tell.

Someone is bound to leave Uconn or will not play. He landed 3 Top 50 guards last class and a wing and he brings Williams in with this class. Dangerfield is also still on the roster.

He is a great coach but his Top players aren't promised to play due to ranking as seen with Dangerfield last year.

As stated Williams wasn't the Top recruit by many services (and from what I seen of her play is good but isn't a game changer).

Walker also was good but Westbrook showed in the (McDonald's and Jordan game) that Walker can be defended/stopped as well and although Katie Lou is good she isn't great either and can be stopped.

IMO these Top overall prospects aren't in the same class as their top recruits of the past. I don't see a Maya Moore or Stewie in any of them.

There are more like KML (who was also a #1 Recruit)

Nurse gone after this year. Dangerfield playing senior when Williams comes in as Freshman. But you are right about the log jam ahead of her that will be Sophomores when she is a Freshman. Can Geno keep them all happy??? I think her chances of PT was greater at USC or UT ....but neither has a recent record like UConn! JMO
