A “blue wave” in the midterm elections will be fueled in part by undocumented immigrants, Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams said at a campaign rally last week.

“But the thing of it is, the blue wave is African-American. It’s white, it’s Latino, it’s Asian Pacific Islander. It is disabled. It is differently abled. It is LGBTQ. It is law enforcement. It is veterans,” Abrams said to cheers. “It is made up of those who are told they are not worthy of being here ... those who are documented and undocumented.”

Abrams, running for governor in Georgia, made the comments at a rally on Tuesday with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., according to the Washington Free Beacon. The remarks quickly made headlines, as they appeared to suggest illegal immigrant participation at the polls -- though Abrams may have simply been saying their interests would be represented.

GOP nominee Brian Kemp told Fox News on Monday that Abrams "wants illegals to vote in Georgia."

She's a prime example of what large amounts of money and identity politics can do. No executive experience, sketchy finances, back taxes..... no problem. It's absurd that this is even close.

Red Wave? Nevada Poll Shows Dramatic Swing For Republican Senate Candidate

According to Real Clear Politics' average of the key polls, just three weeks out from the midterms, Republicans safely hold 50 Senate seats and Democrats safely hold 44 seats. That means for Democrats to gain the coveted 51-seat majority, they have to win all six of the "toss-up" seats and somehow manage to win over one of the Republicans' "safe" seats, which is looking increasingly unlikely.

One of the toss-up seats is in Nevada, where Democrat Jacky Rosen and Republican Dean Heller have been locked in a tight battle for weeks. After Rosen led polls just weeks ago by 4%, momentum has shifted dramatically in the direction of the Republican post-Kavanaugh.

The most recent survey conducted by Emerson Polling (10/10-12) found Heller with a 7-point lead, 48-41, a 9-point swing in one month.

Felons Who Can’t Vote Reportedly Try to Register in Memphis

The number of people filing voter registration applications has surged dramatically in Shelby County, yet county officials have deemed 55 percent of them invalid, according to The Memphis Commercial Appeal.

“A large share of the influx of voter registration applications has been duplicates of already-registered voters, incomplete applications, and applications from felons who can’t vote or are otherwise unable to be processed,” according to the paper.

Luther at least has articulated an issue where he disagrees with the Republican. The whole idea here was to find a candidate that could check certain boxes and then throw tons of outside money behind her. They tried the same strategy in the special election for Tom Price's house seat last year.

I agree but he has NEVER said anything negative about a Democrat.

wonder if it's in time to affect her with early voting. I think the witch thing is nothing of course but I did see a commentary where it compared Sinema to Christine O'Donnell, the nut job GOP senate candidate. I think she had some witch connection too?

I came to see if this had been mentioned, especially since we have liberal folks here that swear illegals don't vote.
