Look at some of the polls that are shown for Senate, House, and Governor Races. Many were taken over 2 months ago. Some have been updated recently.

I was also not a fan of the Sarah Sanders thing either, although I think that was a closer call than this one since Cruz is not in the administration and therefore did not choose to work for Trump.
