2018 Midterm Election Thread

Remember how that tax cut was going to lead to wage growth and pay for itself with all the increased tax revenue thrown off by the yuuuuge economic growth. Let me know when that starts happening. Tax revenues are down, spending is up, inflation is up, and real wages are flat.
Everything I read says tax revenue is up.

The DeSantis campaign denounced the robocalls.

"This is absolutely appalling and disgusting — and hopefully whoever is behind this has to answer for this despicable action," spokesman Stephen Lawson said. "Our campaign has and will continue to focus solely on the issues that Floridians care about and uniting our state as we continue to build on our success."

Gillum’s campaign spokesman urged caution.

"This is reprehensible — and could only have come from someone with intentions to fuel hatred and seek publicity. Please don’t give it undeserved attention," spokesman Geoff Burgan said.

Trump close to toxic at this point. Approval rate is pretty much limited to his base.

Your brown shirt media doing the same that was done before ww2. You keep telling the same lies the idiots will eventually believe it. Just silly to think that Russia influenced the elections

😂😂😂😂 F-them and their damn real estate.

And this is ridiculous since they already have Section 8 of the Housing Act of 1937. This bill needs to die a swift and painful death.

Kamala Harris is just blazing new socialist trails isn't she. I believe that's one woman I'd have to break my " don't punch her" rule over. 😳🙄😑

CONFUSION IN SUPER CLOSE ALASKA PRIMARY AFTER 17 VOTER REGISTRATIONS TRACE BACK TO A SINGLE MOBILE HOME

A potential investigation hangs over an Alaska State House Republican primary after the race came down to a few votes, but irregularities like 17 voter registrations that trace back to a single mobile home address caught the attention of the Alaska Division of Elections.

Incumbent Gabrielle LeDoux leads challenger Aaron Weaver by 113 votes after Tuesday’s election, but at least 26 absentee ballots for LeDoux are classified as “suspect” by the state Division of Elections, reported KTVA.
The 17 Republican voter registrations linked to a single mobile home are in a section of House District 15 that is home to members of the Chinese Hmong community. A woman who answered the door of the mobile home and identified herself as Laura Chang told KTVA she did not know many of the people who registered to vote using the address. The irregularities in voter registrations appear to trace back to a single man, Charlie Chang. LeDoux “reportedly flew Chang up from California and paid him $10,000 to help get out the vote in the Hmong community in her district” in July, according to campaign finance reports cited by KTVA.

So evidently David Hogg is crowdfunding a billboard rental in Texas that will display some of Trump's 2016 tweets about Cruz. He's got some good source material to choose from.
