GT Game Note.

I gave everyone a win for the Georgia Tech game, since it wasn't played. Since almost everyone picked Tech, I changed the few who picked UCF to GT and called them the winner.

That was the easiest way to handle it due to software limitations. If you have any questions or see an error, let me know.

Guys, welcome to the 14th annual weekly pick contest, which will last the entire season and consist of 13 weekly entries.

Each week I will select 10 games from around college football, which will be posted usually on Monday. However, this week and next will be Tuesday due to the Georgia Tech game being on Monday. I will not include any Thursday or Friday games, just to keep things consistent with the entry deadline.

All entries will be due before noon (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

The season winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.

In order to be eligible to win, your user name for the contest, must match your VolNation user name. If you're reading this and don't have an account, you can register here. It's free and simple.

Also, I strongly suggest setting up a recurring reminder on your computer or phone. If you miss a week, you can still have fun competing with other members, but it will be really hard for you to win the contest.

7-3 again this week...still 12 points back.

Guess, technically, I am not mathematically eliminated, but I would have to hit every pick and a TON of folks would have to miss - A LOT.

Still going to keep picking though to see how this thing ends.

BTW - 2 most intriguing match ups this week...UT vs Vandy and FLA / FLA ST...which dumpster fire is burning hotter ???

Gained 1 position while going 7-3, not bad. 4 out with 2 weeks left. Need almost two perfect weeks which is hard to do! I have two already: week 1 and 5. Time for another and try for the top spot!

8-1 with the Notre Dame/Stanford game left! Vols may have cost me a great week if the Irish win! Shouldn't have gone with them!

9 - 1 this week and 90 combined overall if Freak would merge my one week goof of entering the wrong user name of stonesk21.

Enjoyed the competition, unlike what we got to witness on the field this year. Here's to hoping 2018 will be much much better!!

8-2 this week! Probably didn't gain any ground. Now need a perfect week to even finish in top 10! Two weeks at less than 6-4, one at 5-5 and one at 3-7! Yuck. Need to average 7-3 to win this pick'em and get some 8-2, 9-1 and 1 or 2 perfect weeks.👍

Yep - just the 13 weeks of regular season.

I think Freak did the 14th week in the past, but there were other games that weekend apart from the conference championships..not so many of those this year.

Haven't heard, but I would think there will be a Bowl pick'em again this year.

I too look forward to the final results to see how bad I got spanked...HAHAHAAA

Was this week 13 stats? Don't think so; only through 12. I had 83 through 12 weeks and got 8 for week 13 giving me 91.

There are enough games for Championship week for 10 games. There are 9 conference Championships and there are at least 3 that could be added. One conference Championship (PAC 12) is Friday night.
