Richmond starts at LT and Latrell Williams plays a bunch. I think the coaches want Robertson at center with Smith, Jones, and Boulware vying for the guard spots. Thomas could prove to be one of the best interior OL too, especially if he's been living in the weight room. We don't seem super deep at OT, but we don't know how Tatum, Niehaus, and others have progressed.

Callaway, Williams, Byrd, Jennings with Kelly in the backfield could put a lot of pressure on most defenses. Josh Smith could play any of those receiver positions too.

Latrell Williams will be ahead of Princton Fant and Jordan Murphy will be UTs 2nd best WR before the season is over

I don't see Princeton Fant escaping a redshirt...missed practically the whole season with that bad leg injury and is coming in as a blueshirt. Sit, learn the offense and let Rock build him up. Callaway and Williams will play a lot. Any true freshmen receivers see the field and I'll bet their names rhyme with Murphy and Jones. Also like Boulware at OG over Thomas...if he's not the starting C, I say backup or even redshirt. No issue with the remainder of your projection, health willing for Chance Hall.

Everything looks good accept your way off on the starting OL.
Richmond (sad but true)
Jones
Robertson
Smith
Kendrick

Next 4 up on the OL
Tatum
Thomas
Boulware
Hall (if he get past the knee)

9-3 if we beat GT 6-6 if we don't

I really hope Chance is back at full strength. He's a good one and should be a starter if healthy!

Why is it sad but true Richmond (a 5 star recruit) is starting?

Gonna agree with this one. losses to Ala., LSU, GA.
Possible win vs. GA for best scenario 10-2. :hi::hi:

From everything I've seen, Fant will redshirt this season as he continues to rehab his knee. Also I don't know how being a blue shirt affects his eligibility to play this fall. Williams is the one to watch this season. He could have a decent impact this fall. He just needs to stay healthy.

Thomas if healthy will be tough to keep out of the lineup. There's more talent competing for spots than we've had in a long, long time. Exciting. Injuries will also play a role as the season wears on.

1st Team OL
LT Drew Richmond 4* 6-5 309lbs
LG Jashon Robertson 3* 6-3 300lbs
C Coleman Thomas 3* 6-5 309lbs
RG Trey Smith 5* 6-6 320lbs
RT Chance Hall 3* 6-4 315lbs

Next up
G Jack Jones 4* 6-4 312lbs
G Venzell Boulware 4* 6-3 306lbs
T Brett Kendrick 3* 6-6 318lbs
T Marcus Tatum 4* 6-6 281lbs
G or T?? Ryan Johnson 4* 6-6 300lbs
G Nathan Niehaus 3* 6-6 285lbs

Tatum and Niehaus may need another year to get bigger. However, they could be bigger by start of camp. Seems like the preferred size is 300 to 315 for the starters.

It's not about his eligibility. It's about him not practicing earlier than his competition and accommodating the staff by using an available loophole to even be part of this class. Vaulting kids with a year of practice time usually necessitates more readiness.

Last I heard Niehaus is over 300 lbs. He wasn't rushed in like Tatum, so he had his year. He's depth but a bright future this way.

Not as long as Byrd is still healthy and playing imo. JJ, Byrd, Callaway and Johnson with Williams playing a lesser role are the WRs I think play the most/have the most impact this season. Anything from Murphy and/or the others will be a bonus.
