VOLS power index = rocks weight lifting 🏋 program = VOLS setting bama down to a real life ! I'm very hopeful and think we are about to curb stomp so mother truckers!

According to FPI we were supposed to go 12-0 last year. Instead we went 8-4.

Lets hope they are just as wrong this year but in the opposite direction.

The irony of you pointing out predictions that turned out to be inaccurate, is too much for words.:)

No. At one point last off-season we were favorites against every opponent according to FPI including Alabama. The numbers are constantly changing so after week 1 we fell to a projected 10-2 record.

But at one point last off-season we were one of like 3-4 teams being projected as FPI favorites in every game. I believe the other teams were Oklahoma, LSU, and possibly FSU.

That's not how probability works

If they were favored by half a point in every game next year, they would still only be projected to win ~half of them 6-6

2016 made it hard to look at any game as an outright "gimme."

The upside is that we didn't schedule any Sunbelt or MAC teams in 2017, so hopefully we actually get some trash time in the Indiana State, UMass, and Southern Miss games for the 2nd and 3rd strings to get snaps.
