Guys, welcome to the 13th annual weekly pick contest, which will last the entire season and consist of 13 weekly entries.

Each week I will select 10 games from around college football, which will be posted on Sunday (or Monday at the latest). I will not include any Thursday or Friday games, just to keep things consistent with the entry deadline.

All entries will be due before noon (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

The season winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.

Please post in this thread if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments.

Also, I strongly suggest setting up a recurring reminder on your computer or phone. If you miss a week, you can still have fun competing with other members, but it will be really hard for you to win the contest.

I wish the worst week could be dropped. I forgot to fill out the picks one week which knocked me down about 100 spots.

Looks like 450 of 655 have dropped out. Only 205 scored above zero last week.

Looking at some of the insightful football analysis on this site, I wouldn't be so sure that those 450 didn't actually just get zero correct.

What's the deal with the LSU / Fla game? You said you had already credited everyone for a win who picked LSU when the game was scheduled in Gainesville, because that's who the majority picked.

Do those who picked LSU earlier get credit for 2 wins if they pick LSU again this week and they win?

What about those of us who picked Fla earlier and got a loss? What happens if we pick LSU at home this week and LSU wins? Do we get a win and keep the earlier loss even though no game was played?

What about those who might pick Fla in both games, should Fla win this week? a loss and a win, 2 wins?

LOL, what a mess, please clarify.

Basically, the first one won't count. Someone pointed out that it wouldn't be fair to use that original pick now because it's a different game at a different location.

I can't add the point back at this point so we will manually add a point to the overall score of anyone who is in contention and was credited with a loss originally.

Hope that makes sense. :hi:

Held strong this week - didn't drop, but didn't gain any ground either...still 13 points out of first.

Let's see how this week plays out...

6-4 will keep you the favorite imo. Does this go through championship week? I know bowl pickems is separate. Not like championship Saturday will help. Not a single serious picker would pick Florida over bama.

My picks didn't get counted for some reason even though I submitted them before the deadline. Not sure why.

Edit:Nevermind. I didn't realize the picks hadn't been updated for last week yet and was looking at the one from two weeks ago.
