The junior prospect had the Vols on his radar before receiving an offer in November, which he called 'a huge rush.' 'I've watched Tennessee since I was little,' McCargo told InsideTennessee. 'When they offered, it was something I was kind of hoping for.'"

says he has 19 offers....offer list includes Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia among others.
”Tennessee is definitely recruiting me the hardest,” “They always stay in touch and they’ve talked to both my parents. I’m in contact with (offensive line) coach (Don) Mahoney the most. He’s very honest with me and you just get a good feeling when you talk to him. He’s said they won’t pressure me or try to push me to commit. I’ve also spoken with coach (Butch) Jones a few times.

”It means a lot to me that they’re recruiting me so hard. It shows that they really want me and that if I went there, they would look out for me.”
