Anyone know when the whole schedule will be released?

They used to release it in the summer, then mid-October last year; seems to keep getting pushed back.

Here's my take on the 2016 schedule and season

Appalachian State W
Ohio University W
Vagina Tech W
Florida W
@Georgia W
Alabama L
Kentucky W
@South Carolina W
@Texas A&M L
Tennessee Tech W
Missouri W
@Vanderbilt W

I think Tennessee goes 10-2 and wins the SEC East from what i've seen of the schedule. I think Florida will be 2nd,Georgia 3rd,Kentucky 4th,Missouri 5th and Vanderbilt 6th.

Agree with the 10-2.....but, I don't think Scarolina will leave the east without Spurrier. :lolabove:

Stop acting stupid. The media has pretty much been delivering the message of fan angst vis-a-vis the Florida game to the players.

If you spend all off-season and the week leading up to the Florida game talking about losing for 11 straight years, don't be surprised if the players collapse again in the 4th quarter.

If you keep thinking something bad will happen, don't be surprised if it does happen.

Yep, you've got it all figured out....ignorant.

we're 3-3 at the 1/2 way point of this season, and we're already deciding what will or will not be acceptable next season.

perfect.

does anyone not think this is, at the very least, putting the cart before the horse?

Have we not learned our lesson of putting too much pressure on the team to beat Florida?

Maybe if you idiots stop citing the past to excees every year before that game, we might win. It's funny that in the lead up to the Georgia game, there was no big deal made about our losing streak to them and we won.

Maybe if you don't talk about the losing streak to Florida we might finally win.

Im sure that takes care of it.

Thanks. I mean the actual dates though. I work weekends and only way I make games is by taking leave (which I'm in the middle of doing). Hence my frustration that the schedule keeps coming out later each year.

At least the OOC games get announced early.

Just take leave from Sept 1 through Jan 14th and you will have it covered?

So the standard for the next exam should be raised or lowered based on how a student performed on the last exam?

Just based off of what we see from the East this year and what each team will return... I believe UT should win the East next year... based on the roster.

no, it's irrelevant. we're still taking this exam, and now we're studying up on the next one? just a little premature imo.

i'm sure there's someone at GA, FL, MO etc...that feels the same way.

I still don't understand your reasoning.

If you are given a production goal to achieve by a given date... does that date change depending on your failure to meet bench marks during the course of production?

I guess what I am reading into your statement is that expectations can be delayed indefinitely for Jones.... that if he underperforms this year then that means next year's expectations have to be scaled back.

to a degree, yes. but that's not what i'm getting at.

i'm simply saying it's the middle of 2015.

can we worry about next year...well.....next year? or at least when this one is done.

hell half of us aren't finished b*****n about this year....and we want to get a jump start on next?:eek:lol:

next year was always "the year" for me anyway. i would imagine if 2016 goes anywhere near like 2015 has, it will get ugly for CBJ. 9-10 wins next year. there won't be any "young, depth, experience" issues.

I think we will beat TAMU next year. They don't impress me. Of course nobody should ever pick us over Florida until it's been proven on the field. I think we have more chance against Alabama next year than FL. They will again be scrambling for a new QB, and will lose tons of guys to the draft and graduation.

We had no business losing to Florida this year. We should fare pretty well against them next year as well. Next year's schedule is manageable. We should be a strong, talented & experienced team with a senior quarterback.
