Not a "NegaVol," but I have serious questions about whether CBJ and this coaching staff can get the program back to an elite level based on what I've seen this year. With that being said, what kind of record does CBJ need next season to make sure his job is secure? Is 8-4 with the one millionth straight loss to UF good enough? Is he gone at 7-5? Thoughts?

Next year I don't think he has any excuses. 7-5 to me says it's time for a change. We're an elite program and with good recruiting we should be elite on the field.

Depends. With no major blowouts and his massive buyout clause 7-5 will probably keep his job.

I honestly don't know what CBJ's upper limit is. The Nawth Taxes game gets a pass. He showed little vs OK or FL and Arky should have been a win. If the only loss was to 'bama he would be dancing on stars. Unless there is a major regression in 2016, he will be back for more. If there is a major step forward, these useless threads will end.

Buyout starts to go down, but he's probably good unless 6-6 or worse. No way he's back with a losing record. I'm afraid we're always going to be a 7-5 to 9-3 team with him.

Good grief, we haven't finished this year yet.

Useless, huh? It's a message board. This is what it's here for ... discussion.

We will be at worst 9-3 next season unless we are decimated by injuries once again. We seem to have more season ending injuries than any program in college football

Nothing that happens the last 2 weeks really matters, so might as well talk about next season.

Is this the only team forum that discusses a coaching change every week?

Jesus you people

8-4 regular season at best.

Butch won't beat Bama or Florida.

He'll find a way to lose two more.
