I think it will be pretty even, without any of the players really establishing themselves as the best WR. I picked Preston Williams though. I think he has an average year like the others, but I think he is on the upswing and will be dominant next season after a QB change.

Final Prediction Preston Williams 550 Yards, 6 TD's.
I think we have numerous guys between 350-500 though including Croom and Wolf as TE's. Malone 450, Josh Smith 350, Tyler Byrd 400.

In 2014 and 2015 the leader in receiving yards has been the guy who gets the most snaps at slot receiver. In 2013, it was our best deep threat. All of those years, the leader in receptions has been the starting slot receiver.

So likely it will be Williams (our best deep threat) or our best slot receiver. Smith is currently the starter at slot and probably will be all season, but as the season goes on we'll probably see Byrd start taking more and more of his snaps. So, IMO, smart money is on Williams to be the leader from a pure yardage standpoint.

I already told you all that Preston Williams is Megatron 2.0, and will end up with 1,673 yards receiving, 36 TDs, and a guaranteed first-round projection (he's so good that the NCAA is going to have to change their rule to allow guys like him to leave after 2 years removed from high school. But let's be honest, no receiver in the NCAA has his level of talent and probably never will. I know, I analyzed his film myself).

Stop It.

I've already made it clear that Preston Williams reminds me of the great Southern Cal receiver Dwayne Jarrett. Like Jarrett, I think Preston has a breakout sophomore season. He'll be an All-American.

Preston will have 1,300 receiving yards and 15 TDs on the season.

Malone will be second on the team with 1,050 receiving yards and 10 TDs.

If Preston has improved his speed, he can be the next Randy Moss.

Randy was a 4.3 40 guy. Preston ran 4.6 at the opening. And looked like a 4.5 guy at spring practice. That's why I compare him to Dwayne Jarrett.

If Preston can improve his speed now that he's 2 years removed from the ACL surgery, he can be Randy Moss type special. He's got the same physical profile. He just needs the speed.

Stop saying I exaggerate with player comparisons.

Yeah, Preston reminds me a lot of Randy Moss.

No. That's his best case scenario if he dramatically improves his speed. I just threw it out there as a possibility.

I personally hope he reaches the Randy Moss level, however, I think the most likely scenario is that he's Dwayne Jarrett 2.0.

Which isn't a bad thing in college.

More like Al toon or Marcus Colston

Jeff George 1052. Throw is down the sideline let him jump higher than the DBs.

George won't contribute significantly this year outside of the occasional jump ball at the goal line IMO. And even there I'd rather have Jennings or PWill right now. George desperately needs a year in the weight room and another 20-25 lbs of muscle before he's ready to compete in the SEC.

And how many yards will Hurd and Kamara have on the ground?

Josh Smith....750 yards

Easily our most complete WR

If he starts and stays healthy at slot all season, history seems to suggest he'll have a good shot at being the leader in yards.

But I think he'll end up losing some reps to Byrd (if for no other reason than Byrd being perhaps our most dynamic athlete), which will hurt his chances.
