I am advocating making the process easier. I support restoring voting rights to non-violent felons. I support making ID much easier to attain, and absolutely free of charge; once this is done, I see very little problem with voter ID laws. The issue is that many states don't feel the same way.

If you actually read anything about the bill you'd know that what you're talking about never actually happened. Even your link just says they "may" let illegals vote.

If you actually read the bill it says when people register for a drivers license that if you're eligible to vote they'll automatically register you to vote.

Conservative sites looking for hits on their website claimed that it "may allow illegals to vote" and intentionally left out the part about needing to be eligible (otherwise felons could vote also).

You're requiring people to get an ID, why? How does that stop voter fraud?

Really? OK have fun letting her nominate the next Supreme Court justice. Guarantee it will be a more liberal appointment than Obama. Also have fun with HRC leading American foreign policy because I mean she was GREAT as Sec of State wasn't she?!

W nominated the guy who gave the go ahead vote for 0bamacare, so why should I vote for another establishment guy. The GOP is so retarded for spending $100+ million on Ws awkward brother and you think we should reward these people with their backup plan?

Verifying that a vote is legitimate just seems like common sense to me.

I don't have any interest in suppressing the minority or youth vote, nor do I think that this type of voter fraud is a huge issue. I want ID to be easier to receive, and voting to be as accessible as possible. Things like closing on-campus voting locations or DMVs in predominantly minority neighborhoods are naked attempts at voter suppression and don't jibe with me at all.

I think it would make sense if voter fraud were an issue. But it's not as easy as many think
