Well, according to many (some on here as well) maybe that isn't a bad thing. Out of the ashes and all that... The socialist/progressives have destroyed the democrat party. We need something really heavy to balance that abortion.

That's a pretty weak argument against Gore.

Well, the economy is stagnant (.7% growth is pretty anemic), the CBO says we will be $30 trillion in debt in 10 years basically due to Obamacare, insurance companies are dropping out of Obamacare. Our allies and enemies now know we have become a paper tiger with teeth we aren't willing to use. Tell me what stats and facts you have that say otherwise.

4th Quarter fundraising numbers are in.


Donald Trump raises $13.5 mil for his campaign aign -- $2.6 million in donations and $10.8 in loans.

Mike Huckabee: $133K left in the bank, $49K in debt.

Carson raised $22.6M in 4th Quarter; Had $6.M Cash on Hand

Rand Paul had $1.27 million cash on hand at the start of 2016. Raised $2 million in Q4, spent $2.9 million

Christie raised $3.0M in 4th Quarter; Had $1.1M Cash on Hand; $62K in Debts

Jeb Bush Q4: $7.12 million raised in Q4; cash on hand $7.58 million

Marco Rubio raised $14.19 million last quarter and has $10.39 million cash-on-hand entering 2016.

Kasich raises $3.2 mil, spends $3.3 mil in Q4. Cash on hand: $2.5 mil.

Rick Santorum has $42,919 in his campaign account, $167,401 in debt

Carly Fiorina's campaign raised $2.8 million, $4.5 million Cash on hand

Here's an interesting new Iowa poll, notable because it uses a much more strict methodology. Participants had to respond that they would definitely caucus and even know where their caucus location is in order to be counted.

Breaking: Trump, Cruz and Rubio within 2 points in Iowa - Opinion Savvy

Trump: 20.1%
Cruz: 19.4%
Rubio: 18.6%
Carson: 9%
Paul: 8.6%
Bush: 4.9%

If it's actually this close tomorrow will be even more fun.

If it's this close then Trump is in trouble. It would mean that Trump's ground game organization isn't too good.

Nothing Carson said ever really resonated with me, but I still like the guy. The "tolerant" left's vicious attacks and his lack of foreign policy knowledge did him in. That and his general demeanor just has limited appeal next to the Trumps of the world.

It could get interesting especially if Rubio jumps Cruz.

The voter letter really backfired on Cruz I'd imagine. Plus his petulant act at the debate the other night.

Not really man I like someone who successful. Someone who's proven themselves. I can't really think of any accomplishments Rubio has. Plus I'm a cradle Catholic and Rubio is a cradle Catholic. Rubio has gone from Catholicism to Mormonism to Southern Baptist back to Catholicism. What happened there? That's weird

I'm guessing his attendance record at church is about the same as his attendance record at the Senate.
