Well I'm building calculations and writing macros for my corporate master. Who cares about money when that kind of fun is on the table?

ETA - I just identified potential savings of $4.1M

So, I was just reading some about Bernie, whom Trump is probably backing in the DNC, and he wants to forgive my student debt, provide a free college education for my daughter and give us free health care. Pretty awesome stuff.

To do this, he only needs to raise taxes, according to him, 17 Trillion dollars over the next 10 years. If we did that without the great new freebies, we could be almost debt free in 10 years. Economically, speaking pulling that much money out of the pockets of citizens sounds like a bad plan. I then ran the numbers... Assuming there are roughly 175M Americans of working age. I used 24-69 as a tax payer base. To raise the money for Bernie's plan will require all 175M to pay an additional 10k per year in taxes. The problem comes in because we know that less than 50% of those workers pay taxes so that leaves the remaining 50% paying 20k more in taxes each year. BUT, Bernie says he is only going after the TOP 1% leaving them an additional 1M due each year. This seems like it could be quite a burden since the income cutoff to be considered a 1%er is about 350k per year.

I don't care for Trump, but how can people think that implementation of a plan like this could be a good thing.

BTW, I know my numbers are simplistic and don't accurately reflect how he is proposing the burden to be spread, but the fact is the money has to come from someone's pocket.

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, exposed a blatant conflict of interest on Wednesday that the Fox News Channel has been hiding for months.

Lewandowski showed how Fox News has been hiding the fact that Fox News Channel Vice President Bill Sammon has a daughter working for the campaign of the Washington establishment-backed Sen. Marco Rubio

Sammon’s daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Rubio’s national press secretary, and obviously both have a vested interest in the success of the Rubio campaign and the demise of the other campaigns.

Tired of these games.

I wish that everyone understood this. I gave you a like.

I'll tell you.... Because the vast majority of Americans are dumber than hell. The dumbest poster in this forum is at least in the top 25%..... Think about that for a minute

Grand. Trump is winning because of that crap. People are tired of it and it's everywhere. It's on Wall Streeet, it's in all corners of our government and media.

The fact that Trump is winning makes me wonder just how fed up the general public must be with all of the PC garbage and status quo politicians.

Rand fans. You got to admit what Trump has done in the past 48 hours is pretty impressive. Booked a venue, sold thousands of tickets, selected a beneficiary, got a major news Corp to cover it, got 2 participants from the rival event, and created a secure website to take donations, all the while doing multiple rallies and interviews

He gets things done.

You obviously don't watch him because first thing we need to do is secure the border and he talks about it every time. Also all the establishment types haven't done squat regarding the massive incompetence from the Fed Govt. I'm convinced Trump would at least attempt to fix it

Trump does want to build a fence. But he also supports amnesty after the fence is built.

They already tunnel under the fences and checkpoints we do have in place. What do you think they'll do when he grants them amnesty?

I acknowledge that, but I fail to see how "getting things done" is a universally positive trait in a politician if I disagree with many of the things he claims he wants to do.
