How many jobs would Trump have created if he had invested all he inherited into an index fund?

Not only has Trump made himself billions of dollars he has created jobs for many many people both white and blue collar.

Would Trump have a TV show if he bought Index funds? Buildings with his name on it? Nope. He invested what he knew and did well.

There's only one name I recognized from the National Review articles and that's Katie Pavlich.

And just because she's hot.

Donald Trump is the only person who has miss managed his companies, been bankrupt 4 times, lost $3.5 billion in investments owed $850 million to creditors, lost over 24% of his company's value, his companies stock value went from $1.60 a share to .48 cents a share and no one want to touch it and say that is successful.

Yeah Trump's a bum. His IQ is probably only 85 or so.

What POTUS candidate can you say for sure wouldn't?

Well you can't say it "for sure" about anyone, but I would say Trump is different because it's business as usual for him and he clearly is a supporter of croneyism. Yeah every idiot we elect does it, but it could be a huge problem with Trump.

Could be and I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

Hard to beat good luck and more so, good timing, to achieve said luck. Hard work, and the harder you work, make for luck and better luck.
Once Gary Player was playing in a pro-am and holed his sand trap shot. One of his playing partners said "wow, what a lucky shot." Player replied "funny, but the more I practice, the luckier I get."

Trump calling out others for not being conservative is pretty hilarious to me. He is going all-in on this one.

That's what I just don't get. Look at this thread for instance - the moment it's pointed out that Trump is a RINO, his supporters are quick to redirect to "what a great business man he is". Which is great, if we were a board of directors hiring a CEO to run a for profit corporation. Only we're not.

I recall that Obama was roasted for not having any political experience when he was elected, now suddenly that's exactly what people want?

Obama was roasted for not having ANY relative experience.

How's that working out ? It's time we became a profitable nation again. Obama's doubled the debt with nothing to show for it but a sluggish 2% GDP over the last seven years, for all your education you really don't get it. The so called conservatives in congress have capitulated to Barry's every whim for fear of being labeled a bigot or racist.. Trumps success is is a direct response to the failed policies of Obama.

This tread is full of people who would vote for the devil if he promised to build a wall and deport all the illegals.

Having a good business man as POTUS is exactly what I want. All our government has proven recently is to increase both debt and taxes. And Bernie will lead to more.

Actually, this all got started by someone posting an article that decided had they had Trump's money, this is how they would have spent it and made so much more!

Politics aside, I can't understand how anyone could even remotely call the man "not as successful as he could have been" after creating a billion dollar enterprise.

So explain why we should elect someone who can't even run his own company effectively. If I wanted to elect a CEO it would be Fred Smith not Trump. Trump was so bad at balancing his own budget that Citi Bank had to put him on an allowance .
