Nearly everyone said Trump would quickly fall in the polls after every speech he made, but he continues to Rise in the polls. This fact is scaring many communists and republicans, especially a dude named Rience Preibus, and a crook named Hillary Clinton.

Trump has tapped into the anger with politicians using a message that resonates with a lot of people. I love his take no prisoners approach. I do think he will have difficulty when conservatives realize he's not really a conservative. I hope his success will encourage others to find their backbone.

If I had to vote today it would go to Rand Paul. I doubt he will win the primaries though. Trump will eventually drop out but his trolling is a nice news story this week before fall practice starts

No, not really. Half of that population is convicted felons who can't vote and the other half wouldn't vote anything other than dem. The Rs need to work on the LEGAL Mexicans/Central Americans. Along with strengthening the Cuban and Puerto Rican vote.

I'm enjoying the Bush/Rockefeller moderates getting exactly what they deserve. Trump is their creation; he wouldn't be the factor he is right now had the establishment delivered on the promises made to the base in the 2014 elections.

Because they failed, he is a factor in this race, a personification of the frustration conservatives of all facets have with a leadership preferring the comforts and privileges of power over principle.

I suspect by and large you are correct that they still feel let down by the Dems, but at least the Dems let them vote.

Trump has been talking to Reince Priebus and has now toned down his rhetoric on Immigration.

Trump now says he would deport all illegal aliens, then allow the good ones back into America and give them a fast track for legal status, but not citizenship.

Trump also said he would deport all of the criminal illegal aliens who are now in American prisons. This does not make any sense at all because they would simply reenter America again because the border is unguarded.

Pretty sure he wants to build a fence

I was a little off in my WAG, but nothing about my post was racist.

About 25% of the total US adult black population has a felony, while 6.5% of adult non-blacks have a felony conviction. About 8.6% of the adult population has a felony conviction.

I missed the recently passed legislation in any state barring blacks from voting. Got a link I could look at?

Are you talking about the black panthers intimidating people at the precinct in Philadelphia? I don't think that they were trying to keep black folks away. You must have a link or film of the KKK at some precincts that I haven't seen.
